Today we went swimming with the kids. My 4 year old grandchild, who is terrified of water, decided that today she would learn to swim. So she did. She took off all by herself! And then there was nothing we could do to stop her. She wanted to swim “all by myself” across the pool over and over. As I watched her progression I reflected on how amazing the mind is, and how when we decide to do something we can do it if we just jump right in.
